Château Labegorce dates back to the Grosse family in the 14th century. It was the one of the largest estates in the region for many years. Located in the Margaux commune in the Médoc region, the estates vineyard was planted on gravelly terrain. The estate grows about 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. It also grows Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
