TASTING NOTES Prunotto’s Barolo is garnet red in color. The nose is complex and generous with pleasing aromas of rose petals, red fruit and spicy notes. The palate is full, well-balanced with velvety tannins DESCRIPTION Although Prunotto was founded as a co-operative in Piedmont in 1904, it was not until the Marchesi Antinori began to help with exporting Prunotto Barolo and Barbaresco in the 1990s, and later, becane involved in production that their wines took off.
