Deep red color with ruby hues. Intense in nose, with ripe red fruit aroma. It is round, silky and has great concentration in mouth.
Plantation Density 5.000 plants per hectare. Objetive Of Irrigation: Controlling vine size. Pruning System Cordon: Short pruning (2 buds per sprout). 50% of the wine is aged in lightly toasted French oak for 12 months. Then, aged in bottle for 4 months to get an harmonious wine. 100% of the grapes are carefully set on a double selection table to later be placed in 110hl and 280hl epoxy cement cubic tanks by gravity. Vinification starts with a long and cold pre-fermentation maceration at 10ºC to extract aroma precursors and color. Intensive pump overs are done for short intervals to obtain soft tannins. Then, malolactic fermentation is carried out and, finally, a post-fermentation maceration takes place for 15 days to get volume, stabilize the wine and contribute to the asociation between anthocyanins and tannins.
