Its fresh bouquet is characterized by elegant notes of red fruits such as cherry and redcurrant. In the second approach aromas of mocha and blackberries are perceived. DESCRIPTION

In 1922 Baron Philippe de Rothschild, then only 20 years old, took over the management of Château Mouton Rothschild, making the winery, with its first-class qualities and originality often far ahead of its time, one of the most important and well-known châteaux in the world World. One of Baron Philippes greatest achievements is the creation of the Mouton Cadet in 1930. The wine was originally conceived as a second wine by Château Mouton Rothschild and the baron, who himself was the youngest of three siblings, called him "Cadet" (dt "the youngest "). The Cuvée soon became the favorite wine of restaurants all over the world and became the first Bordeaux wine. Mouton Cadet enjoys great international recognition and is considered a symbol of the wines of the Rothschild family in the middle price segment.
