Color: Very dark purple, violet edge.
Nose: Very beautiful, pure and dark fruit, mineral.
Mouth: This wine is vinified by a woman and also has the elegance and sophistication that one would expect with it. After a sensual and soft attack follows a center full of fresh, splashing fruit, slightly mineral and juicy. The final also continues in the same style. Great wine!
This château, owned by Mrs. Juliette Bécot, daughter of co-owner Gérard Bécot van Ch. Beauséjour Bécot is one of the best in the appellation. She has been striving here for the quality level of a St. Emilion Grand Cru Classé since 2001. Located on the top of Castillon, the 12-hectare terroir consists mainly of clay-lime, which produces very fine, sensual, and delicate wine, just like in St. Emilion with good preservation power and young yet very pleasant.
Variety: 75% Merlot 25% Cabernet Franc
