Robe: dark, garnet red in colour with violet tints.
Nose: lovely bouquet of red fruit with soft spicy notes.
Palate: a round and fruity wine, easy to appreciate. The finish displays freshness with notes of pepper and liquorice.
A late harvest to reach phenolic maturity of the grapes. Maceration at low temperatures to extract fruit flavours and body. Use of micro-oxygenation during vinification process to softens tannins. Crushing to separate the different juices. Blending and sterile bottling.
Enjoy between 15 and 17°C. Great to drink on its own but will go well with pork, roast chicken or salad.
Merlot brings aromas of fresh red fruits as well as elegance and roundness. Tannat, this indigenous Gascony variety lends notes of black fruits and structure to the wine. Cabernet Sauvignon gives freshness and spicy hints to the wine.
