The Ferme des Parquets, located in Fourneville in Pays d'Auge, is a breeding farm maintaining a production of Cider and Calvados with the product of its orchards. Jacques Gilles runs the business and attaches great importance to the diversity of his orchards. Its exploitation counts more than 80 varieties of apple trees, used in the manufacture of its Ciders and Calvados.
The farm has its own pot still, type Charentais, according to the specifications of the AOC Pays d'Auge.
30 & 40 has selected in the cellar of the farm a young Calvados, 3 years old. This young Calvados has a very strong typicity that expresses itself on mineral and smoked notes.
It is reminiscent of some Mezcals even some coastal single-malts Highlands.
