This wine is a pale straw colour in the glass. The nose has lifted notes of lemon, orange blossom and fragrant, floral musk. The wine is driven by a powerful depth of flavour; lemon, blood orange and grapefruit with classic Watervale musk. Its clean line of acidity gives it length and drive to the generous offerings of flavour. The wine finishes with a gentle touch of mineral texture to round out a mouth-watering, classic Watervale Riesling.
Wine has been flowing in the Clare Valley since 1851 and is an integral part of the culture. It is one of Australia’s most prestigious premium wine regions, most famous for its Riesling and Shiraz. A small area, accounting for less than 1.5% of Australia’s total wine production.
