TASTING NOTES Nose: Black currants, blackberries, spices, gingerbread and coffee touch. Mouth: Ch. Citran is presenting a very ripe wine this year. The beautiful cabernets give a very fine, noble structure to the wine and the merlots provide some width and volume in this delicate structure. The final also has a lot of ripe fruit and lasts medium. (2018-2025) DESCRIPTION This large estate of 40ha, of which a quarter vineyard, is located in Avensan. It belonged for a long time (since 1945) to the Miailhe brothers, until it was sold in 1996 to the Merlaut - Villars family (Ch. Chasse Spleen) who still own it today. The vineyard mainly contains a sand-stone and clay-lime terroir. it usually produces a Haut Médoc of very good quality.
