After the initial fermentation on the skins, the young wine is pressed and placed on French oak. The wine is then left to ferment for 3 months to integrate fully. This Merlot is an honest easy-drinking red wine that makes a fabulous social sipper. It is ready to drink now or within a year or two of vintage. Enjoy with roast lamb, pork, pasta dishes and pizza.
