TASTING NOTES On the nose there are fruity notes of raisins, honey and a slight spiciness; the sip stand out hints reminiscent of dried fruit, dates and caramel. DESCRIPTION Pineau Rosè des Charentes is made from merlot and cabernet must, to which the fermentation process is blocked with the addition of cognac. Traditional product of some French regions, it is drunk fresh as an aperitif, or, in the case of this rosé version, aged for four years, also combined with cheeses or as a digestive after a meal.
