In addition to the Sémillon grapes, which give the wine harmony and strength, Sauvignon Blanc is used at 26% and Muscadet at 8%. The Sauvignon grape brings a fresh, fruity character and light floral notes to the wine. The Muscadet grape variety supports these rich aromas in a harmonious way.
The Baron Philippe de Rothschild Bordeaux Blanc impresses in the glass with its bright yellow glossy color. Initial aromas of light fruits such as peach and mirabelle plums as well as white flowers reminiscent of jasmine convince in the bouquet, which is rounded off by a hint of citrus notes. The aromas of yellow fruits are reflected on the palate and are accompanied by fresh grapefruit nuances. The finale is just as fresh as its bouquet.
The Baron Philippe de Rothschild Bordeaux Blanc goes well with light dishes such as salmon tartare and dishes with mussels or other seafood.
