DESCRIPTION
Your classic easy-drinking wine, Barbera d'Asti literally means Barbera grown in Asti, the vineyard soils being clay rich with calcareous marl. Don't worry about the oak, because there isn't any - and not much tannin either, instead it's all about serious bright, juicy fruit with intense cherry and almond flavours. A charming wine to wash down your pizza, it's best in its youth between now and 2022.
