TASTING NOTES The Chardonnay comes from the cooler Chouilly and adds minty freshness and softness. The complex bouquet combines spicy and smoky notes with mouth-watering aromas of dried fruit and roasted almonds. The palate is velvety and layered, offering sweet grapefruit and tangerine with a persistent saline finish. Drink now to 2030.
DESCRIPTION Louis Roederer Rosé 2013 is a blend of Premier Cru and Grand Cru for 62% Pinot Noir and 38% Chardonnay among which about 15% of the wines were vinified in wooden casks in oak barrels. The Louis Roederer House uses the bleedings method that consists of letting the berries macerate between 5 and 8 days and stop this maceration when the colour reaches the optimum following the House’s criteria, most notably the cellar master’s. This vintage is matured for 4 years on lees.
