TASTING NOTES
Appearance: Clear, deep bonze amber with burnished copper highlights.
Aroma: Stewed prunes, vinous varnish, vanilla, freshly toasted bread, spruce needles and toasted coconut with burnt as its sawn.
Taste: Slight honeyed sweetness to a delicate, easy sipping palate with cherry fruit and delicate spice.
Aftertaste: Stewed and dried fruit lingers with cherry wood and mild cinnamon spice.
DESCRIPTION
A blend comprising of eaux-de-vie aged for between 15 and 25 years in traditional 400-litre oak casks. Made from estate grown grapes and estate aged in casks made on the estate by the Château’s own cooper.
