Deep crimson red color with strong and structured notes of blackcurrant and sweet ripe plum, with a light touch of mint chocolate. The palate expresses soft and fruit-driven tannins, with delicate yet lasting finish.
One of the most recognizeable examples of Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, Woodstock has been shaping the style of this grape variety since 1982, due to its perfect location in higher and cooler end of McLaren Vale, strong reputation and long history of winemaking, which dates back to 1973 when Doug Collett A.M., the founder, felt in love with the vineyards and wines while serving as a fighter pilot in the Royal Australian Air Force during World War 2.
