TASTING NOTES
Colour: Vivid crimson with vibrant deep red hue.
Bouquet: Freshly squeezed cherries and raspberries with rose wine petals, musk, dry herbs and ginger spice.
Palate: The palate is succulent with rich red fruits including cherry, raspberry and blueberry. The wine has an attractive medium bodied nature, with plush savoury tannins that balance the rich fruits and spice.
DESCRIPTION
Fruit was crushed and destemmed to two tonne open top fermenters and gently macerated by hand plunging and pumping over to extract the desired level of flavour, tannin and colour. It was then basket pressed, with the juice put to seasoned French oak for malolactic fermentation after which it was racked off and pumped to old oak barrels for nine months maturation.
