Before Don Facundo rewrote the script, white rums were harsh, crude and unrefined. In 1862 he created BACARDÍ Carta Blanca following 10 years of dedication to craft the perfect rum.
BACARDÍ Carta Blanca neither dominates, nor disappears in light tasting ingredients. It is the world’s most mixable rum with almost every mixer, but more importantly was used in the earliest recipes of the Mojito.
BACARDÍ Carta Blanca is filtered by charcoal to remove the dominat woody notes from aging 1-3 years, as well as its color.
Tasting note: With distinctive vanilla and almond notes which are developed in white oak barrels and shaped through a secret blend of charcoal for a distinctive smoothness.
