TASTING NOTES
Firm, slightly herbaceous and spicy nose, ripe blackberries and some red berries, touch of cherry, touch of licorice, tobacco, woody and mineral notes. Very firmly formed, tart, still rather youthful fruit, yeasty, herbaceous, nutty and peppery notes, prominent, fine tannins and some bite, ethereal notes on the palate, persistent, good depth, still barely developed, peppery nuances, very good, solid , tart and juicy finish with nutty, herbaceous and mineral notes.
DESCRIPTION
From the filet piece of the Eisenberg, the layers Hummergraben and Croatian Ried, come the vines for Blaufränkisch. The unusually strong iron deposits in the soil give the wine its unmistakable minerality. He matures for 24 months in new oak barrels and used barriques.
