Their Saulheimer Spätburgunder Kalkstein is a pleasant red wine. It is made from hand-harvested Pinot Noir grapes. These grapes come from some 40 year old vines which are planted on a calcareous soil. After fermentation, the wine is aged ten months in old oak barrels.
