Initial Shiraz aromas include ripe plum and cherry, followed by the leafy, cedary spice and red currant aromas of Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate is rich and very generous, yet soft and supple. Balanced flavours linge throughout the long finish.
Matured for 11 months in 19% new French and Hungarian oak hogsheads and barriques, balance in 1 to 5 year old French, American and Hungarian barrels. The wine was matured for eight and a half months in older French oak hogsheads.
