Clemens Busch is a thoughtful winemaker. All grapes for his wines come from one site in Pundericherer Marienburg, his only vineyard. The wines are often fermented in old wood and bottled with minimal sulfur. Full of fruit with a small amount of residual sugar that's friendly enough for any palate and very versatile at the table.
Vineyards: About 30 years old vineyards in the Marienburg vineyard facing south, south-east and south-west on gray slate soils
Winemaking: Soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts
Aging: 8 months in big oak barrels
